Dr. Katie Landier, PT, DPT
Katie Landier is a licensed Physical Therapist, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, an NCPT® Certified Pilates Instructor, meditation teacher, and Founder of Day One Physical Therapy and Pilates. Being of service and inspiring change are what make Katie’s heart sing. Practicing physical therapy has allowed for her to do both daily, and she believes Pilates enabled her to develop those passions even further. While Katie is a geriatric specialist, since becoming a mama to a sweet little boy in 2024, Katie realized the importance of pelvic health for all individuals- from prenatal and post-partum mamas to women in post menopause and everyone in between!
Katie is a Henderson native, but earned her B.S. in Exercise Science from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 2015 and went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona in 2017. Katie earned her Board-Certified Clinical Specialty in Geriatric Physical Therapy (GCS) in 2020. Katie enjoys working with clients of all ages and believes the key to helping people regain control of their health or maintain regular wellness practices is making exercise and education holistic, empowering, accessible, and convenient!
Katie initially practiced in inpatient rehab and acute care settings, as well as starting her own physical therapy practice out of the Via Pilates studio in Henderson before starting Day One. Katie's practice shifted to primarily pelvic health in 2024 and that's where she believes she is most impactful in helping people improve their overall quality of life. She has completed Herman and Wallace courses level 1 and 2B and The Heather Hirsch Academy Mastering Menopause for Allied Healthcare Providers, as well as completing the PelviEd online mentorship program. Katie’s aim is to empower people to maintain and/or regain control of their health, independence, and livelihoods, so all her clients can pursue and enjoy whatever it is that makes their hearts sing!
